How to become a member of SASA?
Firstly, you need to fill in the application form, which is available in an electronic and paper form. We will also need you to agree with our Privacy Policy. Subsequently, it is necessary to pay the membership fee. After receiving your payment, the SASA Council will review your application and you will receive an email confirmation of membership.
Membership fees
SASA membership is subject to a fee. Our rate for students is 10 € . The cost for non-students is 20 €. Membership is valid for one calendar year, starting from the day your payment arrives in our bank account. You will receive an email notification before the membership expires.
Rights and obligations of members
As a member of SASA, you have the right to actively participate in SASA activities, you have the right to vote and be elected to SASA bodies, you also have the right to be informed about the activities of the organization. Members are required to comply with SASA Statute and Code of Ethics, to actively participate in SASA activities, and to pay membership fees. You can read more in the SASA Statute.
Termination of membership
Termination of membership occurs due to resignation of the member, death, violation of the SASA Code of Ethics, due to inactivity or termination of the organization of SASA.
Public profile
As a member of SASA, you have the opportunity to create your own public profile on our website. Fill in information about your expertise and experiences, link it to your website or social media accounts. You can describe your interests in social anthropology in more detail. Whether for informal meetings or scientific collaboration, SASA aims to facilitate networking of social anthropologists.
A gift for new members
As a new member, you can choose one of the publications published by SASA. Our organization publishes professional texts in two editions: scientific and educational.
